Adult Department 

Our Mission

The Church of the Living God International, Inc., under the leadership of Dr. Joseph White, Presiding & Jurisdictional Prelate, has established a vibrant International Youth & Young Adult Department dedicated to developing the next generation of Christian leaders. Our mission is to prepare young people for success not only in the world but also to give them a sure foundation in the Lord.
 

Developing Young Leaders

Across our churches, Youth & Young Adult Services are held on Sunday evenings, providing opportunities for young people to lead every aspect of worship. From presiding to praying to singing, teaching, and preaching, these services help develop confidence, public speaking abilities, leadership skills, and a deeper relationship with Christ from an early age.
 

Department Leadership

Our First Jurisdiction Youth & Young Adult Department is led by Minister Michael Johnson, Director, and Minister Jakob Green, Assistant Director. Together, they work alongside local Youth Directors throughout the Midwest Region to strengthen churches, foster unity, and equip young people to fulfill their God-given purpose. Within the jurisdiction, churches are organized into districts, allowing neighboring congregations to worship, fellowship, and grow together. District youth meetings also provide opportunities to develop singers, musicians, preachers, teachers, and future leaders while preparing participants for larger Jurisdictional gatherings throughout the year.
 

Young Adult Professionals

One of the greatest strengths of our department is our community of young adults who faithfully serve the Lord while excelling in a wide variety of professions. Our ministry includes nurses, doctors, professors, teachers, law enforcement officers, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and even a Harlem Globetrotter. These individuals are not only successful in their careers but are also active participants in ministry—worshiping, serving, leading, and mentoring the next generation.

By sharing both their faith and life experiences, our young adult leaders demonstrate that it is possible to honor God while pursuing excellence in every area of life. They serve as living examples that success in the workplace and faithfulness to God can go hand in hand, inspiring our youth to grow spiritually, academically, and professionally,
